Here is a look at two of my coworkers
This past week has been pretty cool. I have been getting closer and closer to delivering my GUI. As I am reaching the end of the project I have been so much end, but release. I know that the project will have to be supported and upgraded even as I work on new projects. Supporting and maintaining projects is nice because the feedback is evidence that the project is actually getting used, but at other times it is nice to just move on to new things. The bummer is when there are so many projects and tools to support that there is no time to research new ideas or create new tools.
The bonus of getting my project released as soon as possible is that I will have more time to work on projects with Adam and Helge. They are my two awesome coworkers. They are both brilliant and I am glad that I am working with them because they are both very nice and they don't like to settle for second rate work.
Last weekend Helgee brought in a copy of LOTR Battle for Middle Earth and now there are about 6 of us in the office who play it every other day or so. We have not become pros yet, but we are well on our way. After each game we strategize and discuss what went wrong and what we did right. Slowly we have learned how to play more effectively with Isengard and not have to worry about Gondor being too powerful. I know I must sound like a dork, but the game is fun and it is Lord of the Rings!
